Condition: The coach starts, runs, drives, and stops well. Dash A/C works. All major systems work:
Water System, Furnace, A/C, Fridge, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Range, Generator.
All entertainment systems work: both TVs, stereo in dash, in bedroom, and outside.
The roof is in good condition. Interior is in excellent condition, all upholstery,
bedding, tables, wardrobes/storage. No cracks in any of the glass. Has owner's
manual and three complete sets of keys.
The bad: The coach is 15 years old and does have a number of problems, some of them minor.
Here is everything I know that is wrong with the coach, please make your offer accordingly
but be aware that I have a loan on the coach nearly as big as the asking price and can't
let her go for less than I owe.
- With only 230 HP and 18,000 lbs the coach is way underpowered. Inclines and hills will be taken at 30-45mph.
Examples: Tramway from I-25 to the Tram, 35mph on the big hill. I-40 from Wyoming to Tramway, 45mph. It will get
into 5th/6th gear and go 65 on the flat or downhill.
- The automatic leveler jacks do not work. The control panel lights up but they won't go down. I've not contacted
the manufacturer to try to troubleshoot or taken it to be looked at.
- Both TVs are analog. Included are two government coupons for converters ($40 off each)
- The backup monitor has a horizontal hold problem that seems to clear up once its been on for a while.
- The driver's door electric window does not work.
- If you really stand on the brake pedal it will go all the way down and sound an alarm. The brakes work just fine.
- The propane indicator lights on the monitor panel always show full no matter how much propane is in the tank. The dial indicator on the tank itself does not work either.
- The water line going to the ice maker was not winterized properly at some point and is broken.
- One of the right rear tires has a very slow leak.
- There is some delamination of the fiberglass siding.
- There is some rust on the exterior storage doors.
