The Tug Boat game from Parker Brothers is a based on the same principle as Operation. The goal is to move your cargo to the other side of the board, one at a time in the barge, without touching any of the metal buoys. If the barge or tugboat hit one of the buoys it will make electrical contact and ring an alarm bell to let you know your turn is over. The game has one of the most innovative timing devices I've ever seen. A ramp runs all around the game with small protrusions that make a steel ball roll slowly back and forth as it rolls down. My copy of the game has a water damaged box and is missing one cargo of each color. Item number 330 dated 1974. The instructions are online compliments of Hasbro (which is Ideal, Milton Bradley, and Parker Brothers).
