Erector Sets from the A. C. Gilbert Company have been a prized boy toy since 1913. Tremendous number of different sets have been produced through the years and this large set is called the Powermatic Motor Set. I always wanted one with a motor when I was a child. Sets often go for big bucks on eBay but I somehow picked this one up for only $11.00 plus shipping. Item number 10254 dated 1963.
