Sam's Toybox Homepage | |
I've started selling some of my toys & collectibles. As both an eBay Partner and Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. |
Other toys that shoot/explode things in my collection: Cap Bombs by various manufacturers Junior Dynamite Blaster by Kilgore, Tracer Gun by Rayline Plastics, and Wing-It by Schaper.
These hammers are 24 inches long and wooden with steel parts pressed in/on to fire the cap. Usually broken from hitting way too hard, two of my copies have been repaired using either bailing wire or masking tape. Two of mine also came without handles so I bought some dowels and made new handles for them.
This hammer is 16 inches long with wooden handle and plastic hammer/projectile with steel in/on to fire the cap. Says Acme Spec. Corp. - River Grove, Ill. on it. This one is backwards in that the projectile is the female part. Mine is missing the metal ferrule on the hammer and I screwed a large screw in to take its place. Price tag on this one says: S.S. Kresge Co, $.29
These hammers are 12 inches long and have a cast metal hammer with wooden handle and projectile. Interesting concept with a spring to hold the projectile in place--all others are friction fit. My copies each came with three projectiles.
These hammers are 12 inches long and wooden with steel parts pressed in/on to fire the cap. I don't believe that these projectiles are original to the hammers as I had to do some grinding/sanding of the metal ferrules to get them to fit. Also backwards with a female projectile.
