|Sam's Toybox Homepage|
I've started selling some of my toys & collectibles.
The Electric Ball Clock from Arrow is kind of a toy. It comes in pieces which you must assemble and once plugged in will keep time by raising a ball from the bottom to the top each minute. I have three complete clocks and the plastic parts of another. One of my motors is broken which is quite frequent with this toy. Replacement motors are available, as are the assembly instructions, on Stuart's Rolling Ball Clock Page. The first two clocks are both item number 675 dated 1978. The third clock which was still factory sealed when I purchased it is item number 660 dated 1983. This third clock shows gold (gilt) balls on the box but alas came with silver ones.
The two clocks on the page are the Time Machine Kinetic Display Clock from Can You Imagine. I got the black one in a local thrift store and it is mint, unused. Unlike the Arrow clock, this clock is battery powered (four C-cells) and comes fully assembled. The neon pink one came from eBay and is way cool.
