Arnold Palmer's Indoor Golf Course Logo Sam's Toybox Homepage

I've started selling some of my toys & collectibles.
See my eBay Store for current listings. Thanks, Sam

This toy is one of my fondest memories as a child. Made by Marx, a full sized golf club with a plastic rendition of Arnold Palmer at the bottom. Assorted clubs snapped into his arms and a trigger near the grip made him swing the club. As I recall this was not an easy toy to master but it was a great deal of fun. Item number 5280, no date on the box but I got mine (originally) in the late 1960s.

Other golf toys in my collection: Pivot Golf (originally known as Golferino).

Arnold Palmer on the End of a Club
The huge box that the golf course came in. An excellent graphic of Arnold using the toy.   Plastic Arnold at the end of a full-size (more or less) shaft. Trigger action in the club's grip allowed Arnold to swing through about 180° of motion.

All the pieces
All the pieces in my set. Came with six clubs (mine is missing the wedge), ten balls (missing nine of them), sand traps and boundaries, hole flags (missing all but two), score cards (missing all of them), and the foam course mat.
